Feed supplement

I have two Angus bred Simental/Angus crossed cows due to calve in September. What would be a good feed mixture to supplement their pasture grazing? I was thinking about cracked corn with a small amount of Oats and some added mineral salts. Would this be good? Thanks in advance for all the advice!

Unless the pasture is really poor or the cows are, the only supplement they should need is a well balanced mineral and salt.

if you think you are short of pasture keep a bale of good hay out for them, they shouldn't need any grain
