Calves are off the bottle and have gradually been taken off of the starter feed. We are feeding them a mix of Distillers grain, soy hulls, and cracked corn with the ration being about 12 to 12.5% at 4 to 4.5 pounds, plus 1 pound of 32% pellets per day. Is this good enough? They are about 3.5 months old and getting free choice hay. Am I feeding enough, they seem to always be hungry, but I have been going by a university paper I read for a guidline. Thanks for the help.
