feed corn?

i have 4 mixed breed beef steers about 400lbs each. currently they have all the green grass they can eat and are doing well. i was needing about 3lbs a day weight gain. i was wondering what would be a good amount of corn to feed to help me achieve this number?

I would think about 8 -10 lbs. per day will get you high weight gain. It will be hard to average 3 lbs. per day over a long period of time, that is hard to average even for the feed lots.
