Howdy,

I just got back my feed analysis and I'm not quite sure what the values of something mean. (my animal health class in high school has not covered that yet). Is it more important to look at the data for the feed "as is", or on a 'dry' basis? Also, which is more important to look at for a dairy cow, TDN or Net Lactose Energy? Also on the Net Lactose, is the higher the number the better, or lower number better? thanks for your help.
