If it is the same as dwarfism. It has allready been handled. I do not know about all the other breeds but the AAA has a data base of all angus cattle that are known to carry genetic defects. This is widley publicized and naturally animals with the defect are not registerable. ie: mulefoot, red gene, double muscleing, dwarfism etc. If this is something new on the horizon they will handle it in a timely fashion by publicizing which Sires and Dams are known carriers. I did a bit of research on FCS but found very little to look at. Have you got a link for it. And is it the same as dwarfism or not.
 
It's not dwarfism. The Aussies hope to have a paper detailing it soon. There is a video on You Tube. From what I gather it's a genetic mutation back to one cow. Don't ask me or anybody else to post info about it, way to much liabilty involved.
