The Australian Angus Society has identified Bando 598 and Rambo 465T of JRS as carriers of Fawn Calf. Until a test is available that reliably identifies carriers, the AAA hasn't pointed the finger at any bulls. ABS has pulled at least one bull off the market that was believed to have sired FCs. The Advantage Cattle board is following the research closely. You might check there....

the fact is that so far the AAA has not declared FCS a heritable genetic defect, so there is nothing to report, and I doubt that will change til there is a reliable test available. Don't expect any new information soon, if you trust the Australian information then avoid those lines.
