is the Farmtrac brand based on the 3600-5600 series of Ford tractor? if so will Ford parts fit the Farmtracs? found some good deals on Farmtrac, just don't want to get burned on parts

The engines are different and there may be an odd part here and there that are different. But so far the few pieces I've needed other then bolts and nuts fit fine. Bolts and nuts are metric on my Farmtrac 60. The 64k dollar question is why are there a lot of them available. Did you have a dealer that went TU and no service available? Did people get a lot of money and can afford JD as 1/3 more money? You gotta know why.
