Its been a sad week...first Mr. Reagan now we lost another legend, Ray Charles.....Farewell to Mr Charles! I will forever sang "Hit The Road, Jack"....

Hit The Road Jack
( Ray Charles )

(Hit the road, Jack and don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more)
(Hit the road, Jack and don't you come back no more)
What you say?
(Hit the road, Jack and don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more)
(Hit the road, Jack and don't you come back no more)

Woah, Woman, oh woman, don't treat me so mean
You're the meanest old woman that I've ever seen
I guess if you said so
I'd have to pack my things and go (That's right)

(Hit the road, Jack and don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more)
(Hit the road, Jack and don't you come back no more)
What you say?
(Hit the road, Jack and don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more)
(Hit the road, Jack and don't you come back no more)

Now baby, listen, baby, don't ya treat me this-a way
Cause I'll be back on my feet some day
(Don't care if you do 'cause it's understood)
(You ain't got no money you just ain't no good)
Well, I guess if you say so
I'd have to pack my things and go (That's right)

(Hit the road, Jack and don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more)
(Hit the road, Jack and don't you come back no more)

[break]

(Hit the road, Jack and don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more)
(Hit the road, Jack and don't you come back no more)
What you say?
(Hit the road, Jack and don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more)
(Hit the road, Jack and don't you come back no more)
(Don't you come back no more)
(Don't you come back no more)
(Don't you come back no more)
(Don't you come back no more)
Well
(Don't you come back no more)
Uh, what you say?
(Don't you come back no more)
I didn't understand you!
(Don't you come back no more)
You can't mean that!
(Don't you come back no more)
Oh, now baby, please!
(Don't you come back no more)
What you tryin' to do to me?
(Don't you come back no more)
Oh, don't treat me like that!
(Don't you come back no more)

I can almost hear him singin' this song!!!! Farewell Ray Charles!

Sorry to hear Ray Charles died, great music legend. I was lucky enough to go the the Crossroads Guitar Festival at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas last Sunday. Both B. B. King and Bo Diddley were both there preforming, received standing ovations. Two more legends with not much time left.

Ray Charles and Willie Nelson sang 7 spanish angels which is one of my favorite songs

Many years ago I was surrounded by young kids, 18-25 when Louis Armstrong died. Most of these kids had only heard of him but never heard him. They played his music off and on all day and it was surprising to me to see how these young kids could be so affected and develop a appreciation for his music.
Ray Charles is one of the few that falls into the same category
