What would you call a fair price to sell non insurance, green cut, tested big round bales of soy hay. We may end up not getting anything out of out beans, chop wise, but cutting it for hay may be possible. I was figuring $40 a bale, or do you thank a guy could get more out of it.
Thanks

if the stalks have a good meny beans on them thats high protine feed.id say $50 a bale if it has some beans in it.an $40 if its stems an leaves.

You said it had been tested - value will depend on what the test read. If protein was low mid-fourties but if it was high, it would be worth more.

Last year the were getting $90 per roll in NE Texas and SE OK and had a waiting list.
