Face Flies

Help Support CattleToday:

Dun - what is your "weed wiper"?
Susie Q - if they are already flowered, I carry a machette (sp?) & wack off the flower - then spray.
and Dun is correct, if you mow them, they just immediately make new flowers & they may be very low to the ground. They are persistant about REPRODUCTION!

Thanks, I contacted them for more info. Looks like a GREAT idea. I like the ATV, but question if it carries enough product. With all our clover in our fields, I HATE killing it along with the weeds. Although, if I spot spray after cattle have grazed the fields, there really isn't any clover leaves (not much anyway) to kill.

Remember you are using straight glyphosate (roundup) mine is a 12 footer and holds 3.5 gallons (about)

That is what I was doing Jeanne - Simme Valley. I cut the flowers off and wiped poison on the plant with a weed brush. Alas I was bedridden before I finished so will have them again for sure.
