That is depressing.
Reminds me of the Fable of the man who built his house on sand. In this case, built on a floodplain.

Flooded Fences............I went to our farm on Sunday to check on our fences via Hwy 21. On my way in the BIG River was 10 feet below the bridge. 2 Hours later, the road was closed and I had to detour to Hwy 47 to Hwy 44. Can't even get there now! Everything should be open for you. We are about 5 minutes north of the Big River bridge on 21.
