Everything added was home grown, except the spices, including the 2 pounds of hamburger. I am tired of eating the store bought soup crap. It is time for some real soup as made a stock pot.

Wife served up homemade chicken noodle soup tonight. Awesome !!!

Can smell that from here! Love a good home made soup. My wife make excellent soups. She made potato and leek soup once, i was less than enthusiastic about it. Once i tried it couldn't believe how nice it was. I look forward to that one now. Just a tad hot for soup here at the moment, about 37c degrees and really humid.

I have a chuck roast in the oven right now. The leftovers will go in the freezer to make soup later...or I might just make soup on Sunday.
Canned soup sucks, and there's really no way to spice it up and make it much better.

Love it, did the same thing with a stew, rolled out some wompum biscuts and made pot pies, put em in the freezer, yummy!
