Europe's decreasing livestock

I always thought it was interesting that Europe still has as much of a livestock industry as they currently have. They still love their beef, pork, poultry etc. Well...looks like thats about to change.
Plan to cut Netherlands livestock population by a third.
 
Ag policy being made by people who think all food comes from the grocery store. That is happening here too as the Ag community becomes a bottom out of sight minority.
 
I get the feeling that world wide food production is getting to the bit more "tippy" point as we have seen with Covid restrictions and China's Swine Flu problems. Shortage of harvest labour here with restrictions on foreign workers coming in and China scrambling a bit for beef imports to prop up their pork shortage. I think in the future big droughts will have a greater effect on world food supply.
