Employee Management Conference

I'd just like to make everyone out there aware of a conference that is coming up on August 12-13, 2004 in Oklahoma City.

The EMPLOYEE MANAGEMENT FOR PRODUCTION AGRICULTURE CONFERENCE is a joint effort of Kansas State University and Oklahoma State University.

The two-day event specializes in all aspects of human resource management for agricultural businesses, from selecting and recruiting to discipline and termination and all the things that happen in between (like communiction, teambuilding, and all those labor laws and layers of red tape that employers have to cut through.)

If you're an ag employer, you really should visit http://www.oznet.ksu.edu/employee and check out the sessions and speakers for this conference. It might just be the best investment you make this year (at least that's what past participants have told us.)

The pre-registration deadline is Monday, July 19 so register soon and save some money. Even if you miss the deadline, the cost is still cheap so check out the website and plan on being in OKC on August 12-13, 2004.

thanks,
Sarah Fogleman, conference coordinator
