Well, she has a huge rib cage - and can hold a lot of forage.
She had a calf on her...so what do you do? Wire their jaws
shut? 2004 was a good summer regarding rain and all our
cattle were probably 100 lbs heavier than in other summers.
2005, on the other hand, was not so good and 2006 was
awful. We are starting off 2007 in good shape; all the stock
ponds are full right now and I think we are going to make
all our hay for next winter. Let's hope for the best.
