Considering the donation of embryos to a relief auction for flooding victims as long as they'll accept it.

If you bid on a package, would you rather have 3 of the same flushes (1sire) or would 3 different sires with one donor, be more interesting? 3 sires would include Acclaim, Jet Black, and Bubs.

Need thoughts. I'd like to throw this at them later this evening.

the same, what cow? and what bull did you choose, let us know when the auction is

Should know all the details today. Will be on DV Auction, along with some great equipment that has been donated for the event. You can find more info on Dubas Equipment LLC (FB)
This money will go specifically to folks in this industry who've been devestated by the flooding. Unfortunately, the most impacted people in Nebraska are not under the Presidential Disaster Declaration, so all this money going places ain't helping rural Nebraskans who ranch/farm.

I went with Bar R Jet Black since we have so many of that mating. Dam is our Lassie. (18701507)

Pictures of Lassie please.

This picture is one I took without help. The other I have, she has 5 chins...so this is the best one I got. I can get a video of her after work. She is by my house. This pic was taken just after weaning her calf and she had been dry-lotted since we had been flushing her. I had realized I didn't get her udder either. I am not a professional cattle photographer. I'm a bit disappointed by this photo but it's the best I have.

This is her EPD's (genomic tested)

This is her 2018 Calf (genomic tested)...I will be breeding her later today and could get a video of her too. We weren't real impressed with her as a calf (dry-lot with momma) but she's a beauty now and is our favorite heifer with exception to our SAV embryo heifer...

This is one of 3 Acclaim sons out of our flush for 2019. We registered him a bit early to see what the projected EPD's were out of curiosity but he hasn't been genomic tested.

She is set to have 9 progeny once everything is registered for this year, not including other embryos that had been purchased last year. We've sold from 3 sires, 18 embryos. This year, our plan is to put another 40 in from her. She flushes incredibly well. We get 15-22 embryos for each flush. I call her our cash cow.

She's currently bred.

Per Dubas... "Another note of gratitude for every single person who had reached out with kind words, and sent money to the relief fund! We're looking to make one last push with the t-shirts for the next 24 hours. If you'd like to contribute but don't want a t-shirt you can still order, just add a message to the order notes saying you would like to not receive any t-shirts. The Shirt company will donate all of that contribution back to the fund! We will have more details on the on-line auction coming up, tentatively set 20 days from now, with our friends at DV Auction. Links for both the T-shirt and the up coming auction in the comments of this original post! Please share with anyone who might like to contribute!

A lot of things had been added to this auction since posted... So if you've looked around before, take a look again. Some of these things are going dirt cheap!

Not a big auction but packs a lot of heart. We donated these items to help raise money because even though we were impacted, we were extremely lucky to have not suffered the loss as greatly as so many others had. Many of those on this listing who donated, were in the same situation as ourselves. Help thy neighbor and count your blessings, especially during heartache and tragedy.

Special thanks to all the different folks across the country who delivered/donated hay, supplies, etc... to our area farmers. The amount of supplies I'd see trucked in, was unbelievable and I hope those whom accepted donations will one day, pay it forward.

If you do not wish to bid but would like to contribute monetarily, the link does have additional instructions on the bank whom is handling that.

They will. I wound up with a lot of new friends in Kansas after the fires two years ago and every single one of them has dropped whatever they're doing and helped with this and other disasters.
