Are there any disadvantes/advantages in buying an bull that came from an embryo transplant? Are they less expensive?

they are generally more expensive. they are out of the best genetics that you can cross, usually. most proven donors are flushed to proven sires for bulls that will add value and preformance to your program. but most times you will pay a little more for et calves than natural service calves.
Another view is, some are less expensive because, they don't come out that good, because the recep cow didn't give good milk or just didn't raise the calf as good as the natural momma would have. It depends on the rancher, if they think that the et calf came out great or not so great. If they are just selling papers and genetics or the actual calf that you are looking at.
