Electric Fencing

I will be getting some 75 head of feral cattle, and was advised to use a Gallagher electric fence set up. Six ft posts with wire about 12" apart. I will be using it inside of about 350 acres that is fenced with standard barbed wire. The Parmak Mk. 6 is cheaper and seems like it would do the job. Do you good folks have any suggestions as to fencing applications?

We prefer Gallagher, we get much better survice from the dealer here. Whatever you use, the ground is the single most important aspect. Use plenty of ground rods at least 5 and better six feet deep

You get what you pay for. We have used cheaper fencers and put out more in repairs and replacement. I'll stick with a Gallagher now.
