Whenever my show steers eats grain, one side of his stomach gets large and firm. If i walk it goes away. Is this bad or is it just his rumen causing too much gas? Thanks

Bloat is a very misunderstood condition. Some folks seem to thin that anything that has a high amount of fill is bloated. Not so. If his eructation (I love that term, it's the ability to burp) mechanism fails that is bloat. If he is in other ways ok and he doesn't have breathing problems, I wouldn't worry. If she shows distress or can't breathe freely then it's time to start being concened, and if he can't breathe well, very concerned.
