Early Winter Snow

Never had this much snow in September since arrived here in 1953. Had to bring cattle in before the electric fence went down. 4" snow 8am and still falling.

Seems a little too soon to me. Hope you get some Indian summer after this

Wow need that here, but not sure I'm ready for 4" just like that. I'm with Silver, hope you get an Indian summer and winter isn't there to stay.

We always consider any stretch of warm weather between now and Halloween to be Indian summer.

We have had a couple light frosts. Man, that sure felt nice. This summer was too long and too hot. Please keep that 95 degree weather down there.

Currently 90 here.
Mid 90s thru Tuesday then it back down into the 80s again..

2 nights ago was lowwww 50s over night.

Had 46 2 nights ago and 49 last night. Now frost yet but it sure got chillier after the rain on Wed. We got 3.4 inches which was very welcome. Been way too dry for the better part of the summer... although some places got many downpours but they were very limited in area.

We have three more days in the 80s then the temp drops to the 50s & 60s. Guess it's time to split wood for the winter and get busy on replacing some fence.

Had a light frost couple nights ago and now highs in the 50s. Fall is in the air for sure.

The forecast for Tuesday is low at 30 and a 50% chance of precipitation. Could be a little early morning white stuff on the hills. Be nice to have a little weather for opening of deer season on Saturday but the 10 day forecast doesn't look that way.
