I noticed on one of cows that her ears looked different. After looking more closely it looks like something has chewed off the lower corners of each ear. Is it possible that something got a hold of her or could it be something else. I am open to any suggestion.

Thanks

Flies would be my guesse. Other irritants caused her to scratch. Check for ticks in the ear maybe she is scratching.

My guess would be dogs thats one of the first places they bite at besides the nose they dont have to be wild either to do it. could be a neighbors

My vote would be dogs, also. Especially if there are any cows calving now. Mother could have tried to fend them off.
