1. Can someone suggest a good book on the subject of E.T.?
2. Can the procedure be done by AI techs or do I need to get my vet to perform?
3. I breed Angus but have some other breeds (Charolais & Hereford). Can I use them as recepient cows and get the AAA to recognize the calves?

No it does not need to be done by a vey an AI tech "can" do it but I would reccomend an embryologist.

Yes you can use them as recip cows. The breed of the recipiant has no bearing on the calf and yes you can register the calf.

4. When is the right time to implant?

Depends on what you are breeding for. You can implant anytime. Are you wanting them for a particular show or just to keep as pasture cows?
