Good for him. Every weekend we have the Sheriff's Detail that cleans the interstate for low impact criminals. It's the same idea. There's no reason we need to just fine people or lock them up. Everyone wins. Hopefully these kids learned something.

I couldn't get the video to play for some reason but read the text. I look at it as a positive. Now, whether they actually gleaned anything from the experience or just got bitter and angry is another story.

When I was a kid (1970's-80's), a farmer caught a couple of guys, with a truck stuck all the way to frame in his bean field. They had actually been pretty destructive about it. They had an old Chevrolet, where the tank was behind the seat, and the spout was sticking out of the cab. He made them stick a rag in the gas tank, and set it on fire. Said they liked tearing things up, they could tear up their own stuff.
