What is the maximun time needed for a beef breed cow to dry up.Calves have been separated for One Month.I want to turn them back in with the bred cows, but want them unable to nurse again. Dan

3 -r weeks is generally plenty of time. The catch is the particular cows desire to allow nursing and the particular calves desire.
