Is there such a thing as a drought resistant grass plantings? I know some folks are hoping for the rain to quit, we're just hoping for a rain.

Establishing in drought? Pretty much out of luck. Drought tolerant is another thing.

Will say, Kleingrass showed some resilience in unfavorable conditions but it still needs a couple good months in the beginning. Pearl millet is pretty tough past a couple months too.

Not happy to say I can match you picture for picture....just saying I feel your frustration. Add a cattle market heading to the dumpster isn't going to helping either.

You'll learn to appreciate rain for sure. Nothing works without rain, I don't care how good your land, cattle and fertilizer are. It's useless without rain for a few months, and a
Real drought last several years. Ain't pretty watching everything turn to dust.
