What about draxxin? Have you had good luck with it or bad luck? I'm interested in treating 400#-800# stockers. Does it work on smaller or bigger calves the best? What does it cost?

It costs a lot! Seems like $3.00 a shot...I nearly dropped to the floor in the fetal position when I wrote out the check for that small bottle. Got it at Walco...don't know what you'd pay a vet for it.

Draxxin is good stuff...but it is not the magic bullet. If there were such a thing as the magic bullet, I'd pay $6.00 a shot. But, if nothing else is working for you, I'd give it a shot...pardon the pun.

 we used it on a couple that picked up a resp virus at a
show. One shot was all it took! Both calves were ill with
temps of over 103 and off feed. Worked great! P.S. It is
expensive, but worth it being a " one shot wonder".

Works really good, the nice thing is that it lasts for 15 days, you dont' have to keep getting them in the chute.
