Don't kill a turtle in front of wittiness

Dumb people around here will cause a wreck dodging them on the road or they will stop abruptly in the road ,jump out of their car , run back to the turtle and move it out of the road.
One woman got all upset when she pulled off the road jumped out of her car to move the turtle and along came this dude and ran over it on purpose right in front of her.

I've seen 2 different box turtles go flyin off to the side of the road when someone hit em with their tire. They seemed to just go squirtin out from the leading edge of the tire instead of getting squished.

I've seen that too, but I aim more accurately when it comes to snappers

Around here, lots of times turtles going across roads end up being picked up and becoming somebody's supper.
