My 10 yr old shot his first buck(small 8pt) this past Sunday night. I cannot explain my excitement for my boy and that first deer. Far more exciting than any deer, fish etc that I have EVER landed. PROUD,PROUD,PROUD!!!!!!

You are soooooo right. Got the buck w/rifle, wants to go after a doe w/his black powder rifle and yes......he wants a new bow for Christmas.

Keeps getting better......... Just got my 10 yr old sons friend his first deer tonight. I haven't got one yet and....I am not sure I want to. Seeing these young uns do it is much more rewarding to me. This kids parents came out (town folks) and then his grand parents showed up shortly afterwords. After the "photo shoot" we got to start gutting.
