disease identification

One of my neighbors has lost 3 calves. She had a vet do cultures and tests and the diagnosis was "ELD". Anybody know what "ELD" is? The only thing I can come up with is "ECP', enterotoxemia clostridial perfringens. But "ECP" is a long way from "ELD". Just want to make sure that whatever it is, I am protected.

Had to ask again and found out it was Lepto. Folks make sure you vaccinate. The loss of one calf costs more than vaccinating hundreds of animals.
