Direct Marketing to Packers

What process must someone go through to sell directly to a packer? I have run the figures and it seems that even with the transportation I would be money ahead to go direct.

You need to contact some packer order buyers. Let them know what you have,
kind, sex, quality, wt, how long on feed. Go from there. The buyers will want to come to your place and see what you have and form their own opinion.
