More calving issues than baldy cows.
Need more feed than baldy cows.

They are a higher growth more muscular animal that requires more management than common English breeds. Question is - - does this generate more profit in your system?

A true Angus X Hereford cow covered by a Simmental is hard to beat. Those calves flat get it done. I've never kept any females from that cross, but I'd venture to say they'd probably be pretty good as well.
