Yes. Island of Kauai for 10 days. Nephew that runs farm with me lived here for 6 years before coming to NY to help me.
We have come back about 6 times now.
Love it.

Beautiful place, I love the waterfall in the first pic. Got a sister that lives on the big island but never been there. She absolutely loves it. Maybe someday I will venture back on a plane and see what it is all about. I hope you have a great trip!

We are going on a helicopter ride this morning touring the waterfalls.
A friend that is visiting with us lives on Big Island. Cheaper living costs, but not as pretty.
We caught a few crabs, so will cook for supper.

The island got a good rainfall last night, so there were literally hundreds of small falls for us to view. ALL their falls are produced from the rains. No ponds or reservoirs.
The were lots of huge canyons and we flew down thru them. Breathtaking!! About 80% of the island is untouched....unattainable. My nephew hiked in and spent a week in the mountains and canyons when he lived here. He lived off grid and lived off the land for a long time.
