I was curious if anyone could help me out, I am planting a pasture this spring, and I want to know what to mix. If anyone could tell me pros and cons of the grasses on their farm, I would really appreciate it.

Talk to the NRCS or extension people in your area. They should be able to tell you the poeple in your area that are using different forages.

It will also depend on what time of the year you plan to graze the pasture. That way you can correctly balance the warm and cool season grasses. However, depending on your part of MN, you may not even have the option of too many warm season species...

What are your avg. temps and annual precipitation?
