dexter cattle

I am looking for the complete history of the dexter cow. I do know that they are a small breed like the Zebu but that's about all. Can anyone help please.

Hate to tell you but Zebu are full size animals, miniature zebus are small. <A HREF="http://www.dextercattle.org" TARGET="_blank">www.dextercattle.org</A> will be able to help you.

You might also try the the British and Australian Dexter organizations for some other interesting information; I think they have a couple of articles on history, etc. I think the American Dexter Cattle Assoc. does have books available that you can buy. <A HREF="http://www.dextercattle.co.uk/" TARGET="_blank">www.dextercattle.co.uk/</A> AND <A HREF="http://www.dexter.une.edu.au" TARGET="_blank">www.dexter.une.edu.au</A>
