Just to clarify a few things. Lut (PG) should be given between 10 - 100 days after possible exposure to a bull.
If you are buying these heifers, you shouldn't need to worry about spaying them - unless you are feeding out bulls also and the heifers could get exposure.
How old are they when you purchase them? If they are weaned heifers, just wait 10 days and PG them. If they are yearlings, I would get them preg checked and get vets advice if pregnant.
