dead cows

We had a bad storm here a week from sunday, didn't worry about cows 12 of them on 22 acres tuesday found four (600 to 1000 pounders)dead no sign of struggle dropped dead called the vet out he said lighting 3 in a line one in a bunch of trees farmer down the road thought it might be blackleg all had had shots and vet said all was healthy still worried any help

It was probably lightining. Around here, the record is 12 cows that were under a tree during a storm. Trust your vet.

I agree, for 4 to die of blackleg at the same time would be too much of a coincidence. Sounds like lightening.
