This is a spin off of sound advice

OK people it's time to stir the pot again.

Do you remember when handing out condoms in schools was suppose to be the answer to teen pregnancy?
Do you remember the controversy over implants being the answers to pregnancies by people (women ) on welfare? (RU-284 ?)
And not increasing welfare payments based on the number of children in the household?

Most of these programs, and others, were aimed at the woman.
Now where is the logic in that?????
HELLO!!! A woman can only produce 1 child a year, whereas a man can produce 50, 100 or more per year.
So why not just pull the bull out of the pasture instead of trying to take all the cows out?

IMO, if the government, or anyone else was serious about our "unwanted child" problem the cure lies with the man, not the woman.
HELLO AGAIN!!! It's called a vasectomy!
IMO if the government gives away anything to stop this "unwanted child" problem it should be a free vasectomy for any man who wants one.

And I further believe that any man who is more then 6 months in the rears for child support should be court ordered to get a vasectomy.

in child support, their choice is jail or a vasectomy.

Family Court Judge D. Michael "Mickey" Foellger has given the option to a
few men who had multiple children and were tens of thousands of dollars
behind on their child support.

Foellger said he considers it an effective way to get his message across -
that having children is a responsibility.

I can't support any government infringements on our personal liberties such as forced loss of reproductive capabilities(and that's a hard stand for me to take as I have a woman in mind who should have had her uterus ripped out about fifteen years ago) but I would love to see something simple like a public anouncement of deadbeat dad's/druggie moms in the newspaper each day... A little shame can go a looong way.
As far as rapists and child molesters, I will say that while I'm against forced altering of convicted abusers, I'm not at all against killing them the first time around.
