Maybe another of those "you'd have had to been there' things.. Left the boredom of the Northern Indian ocean going south on a fast tin can, Brisbane bound and walked up on deck late one night and there it was..

Right on the heels of Jeff Beck. I am 66 and all of my golden era of rock( about 66 to 73) favorites are in their 70's and 80's. I will lose them all in my life time. Except Keith Richards. My grand kids, in their old age, will probably be the ones who read about him passing!

North Atlantic, December 1971. That's a LOT of stars. Not the Southern Cross... but lots of stars.

I saw a video from Larry the Cable Guy the other day. He was talking about going backstage at concerts where rock bands from that time period were performing. He said back then all you could smell was weed. Now it's weed and Ben-Gay.
