One or the other of my 2 favorite mommas is showing heat. Wife just told me one was riding another. Almost 3 months after returning the bull to his owner. I have a feeling its the same one that came up open 3 months after blood testing bred the last go around. Starting to see a oattern with her. If that's the case she's gone. A shame, because she's really starting to show what she's capable of as far as calf rearing. and a great mother.
I'll blood test Saturday and send the samples in.
Sucks.

Unless a cow can successfully have and wean a calf every 12 months it seems like a $$ losing proposition no matter how good the calves are when she finally has one. And if you keep a heifer out of her you are likely spreading the poor production genes.

You guys are all correct.
I'm still learning and I'm sure that's obvious
