I fed the cows this morning. That went quick. As I circled back along the feed row I counted cows. I came up one short. I could have had my count wrong but didn't want to drive around any more with the feed truck. So I took it back to the barn and parked. Hopped on the quad to check the cow count. As I pulled away I noticed it was snowing on top of the hill and looked to be headed this way. Ran out on the quad. It started to snow. Went passed the cows in the direction they had come from this morning. The field has a little roll to it. Enough that you can't see the far end. No cows down there. Back to count the cows. By now it is snowing pretty good. Big wet flakes. Before I got the end of the line the dog jumps off the quad, runs to the far end of the cows, and pushes the last 8 or 10 back towards me which mixes them all up. Then she sits there looking at me like she is saying did I do good? Just what I want on a wet snowy morning. Back to the other end where the cows aren't all stirred up. Stay on the quad you mangy mutt. This time the count comes out right. Back to the house to get out of the sloppy wet weather.
