Any here know of using beef cattle for recipients for holstein embyros? Any experiences, positive or negative?

Some dairy farms around here have used herefords for recips, others have used black baldies. In general, beef farms use holsteins or jerseys for recips for their embryos with great success, dairy use beef with a little less success. (calving problems, less milk)
