I've seen that Weird Al video several times. Funny stuff!
I'm probably one of the few on this board that has never been around any Amish.
I did serve with a guy in USMC from Pennsylvania, and if he wanted to insult someone, he always called the Amish. I guess he wasn't from the Amish area of Pa himself. From what little I know of them tho, they seem to be hard workers..

Some folks don't like cuss words. My maw always tells me about everything 2-5 minutes "language check " I'm like check for what? I know I talk bad sometimes when I get excited telling stories the more cuss words fly out my mouth. I've been trying to work on it, definitely a bad habit. I realize it makes me sound ridiculous as well again a bad habit. It could always be worse.

I'm the same way. I had a person tell me on time... it makes you sound stupid when you curse. I told them... not as stupid as me pausing for 5 min trying to think of a different word.
