Daily Chuckle

I was in town one day last week. In the right neighborhood so I stopped in at FSA to see what was happening on fence money. Been waiting to see when and how much money was coming to replace fire destroyed fence. They thanked me no less than 3 times for stopping in. Do you suppose they had to report things to Elon and a live person coming to their office was a plus.
I was in the FSA office just last week. I prefer to do all my business with them in person.

They sent me an email on Friday saying I was approved for all that I asked for. Then something which I was supposed to electronically sign. I just went in this morning and signed in person. I only have a couple miles of fence to do. So the county committee could approve it ($48,000+). Others with more fence (more $) they had to send the request further up the line.

Back around 1980 I was working at TG&Y. For those of you who don't remember those, it was a chain of small dime store type stores that decided they wanted to compete with Wal-Mart. It didn't go well.

Anyway, we had a guy come in and buy several cases of the basic red spray paint. He said he was going to paint his car. I was talking to a guy who knew him sometime later and was told that it looked good . . . for about a week, until it started fading.
on my '00 truck. the clear was coming off a lot on the hood. I bought some factory color black in spray cans and bought some cans of 2K Clear Kote. got off all the old clear, sanded, sprayed... It looks pretty dang good. the secret is that 2K clear. really nice stuff.

That fan thing............. guilty! Grew up in a house 20 miles East of Houston Tx--no air conditioner a BIG fan. It blew out into his auto shop, pulling air thru all the windows of the house, but Dad would get cold at night and instead of shutting the window or door in parents bedroom, he'd just turn the fan off about 2am. I knew it immediately as the sudden absence of the HUMMM would wake me up. I've always had a small pedestal fan in our bedroom nowadays. Wife won't turn it off but she does often get up and turn it to where it blows against the wall, which is fine with me as long as it is sill HUMMMMINN.
