Daily Chuckle

It's all in what you like. I know a mechanic who only has Milwaukee. I didn't care for how they felt in my hand.
I will say I've accidentally dropped my DeWalt tools from high locations onto concrete floors. Pick them up, pull the trigger and they still work. That's a pretty good testament to me.
Other than Ryobi I'd say the tools all work pretty much the same. And they will all take the same abuse. But I don't need a tool that weighs significantly more and have to lift it all day long just because the weight sells tools... and The Milwaukee batteries have outlasted the Dewalt batteries I've had. I have fifteen year old Milwaukee batteries that are still doing the job and I've never had a Dewalt battery last over five years.

My original DeWalt batteries have to be pushing 14 years old. Still work great. I got them with a hammer drill, impact driver and flashlight. I smoked the drill ( apparently I used it to crank up the 24' livestock trailer one to many times 🙄) the impact still works great and the flashlight does chores every night.

I must be doing something wrong. I've bought Dewalt twice for myself and once for my son and none of the batteries lasted. And I really wish they were great. I don't like it that they failed and my experience was such that I'll never take a chance on them again. At least they didn't disappoint like Ryobi, eh?

My husband and I have been using Myobi battery power tools with great effect., At least they are not Chinese. Long lasting problems with no problem. Back the subject of daily chuckle. Then egg shortage

Minister of Health, that would be British. Meanwhile, I am forced to give multiple dozens away to my neighbors/

I have a DeWalt drill that's about that old, and both batteries that came with it still work fine.

I think that makes you at least an enabler, at worst a drug dealer:LOL:

Had some Amish build a couple buildings and put a roof on a barn. They used Milwaukee and the saw, and nail gun was very impressive.

I was in town one day last week. In the right neighborhood so I stopped in at FSA to see what was happening on fence money. Been waiting to see when and how much money was coming to replace fire destroyed fence. They thanked me no less than 3 times for stopping in. Do you suppose they had to report things to Elon and a live person coming to their office was a plus.

Back around 1980 I was working at TG&Y. For those of you who don't remember those, it was a chain of small dime store type stores that decided they wanted to compete with Wal-Mart. It didn't go well.

Anyway, we had a guy come in and buy several cases of the basic red spray paint. He said he was going to paint his car. I was talking to a guy who knew him sometime later and was told that it looked good . . . for about a week, until it started fading.
