Anyone use this stuff? Good/bad experiences? Thanks.

We used it this spring, some cows retained their winter coats a bit long, but I'd say that was more environmental than anything else. We use a different brand of worm medicine each spring - Eprinex, Dectomax, Cydectin... Can't say as I've noticed much of a difference in any of them.

We've always used this or Ivomec...the only thing is it stains the coat for a while so if you have white animals it can be a problem before a show or sale, we used to use it on our Holsteins. Its easy to measure and give.

When you run a big herd it is nice to know who is done and who needs to be done.

Good stuff - we use it around mid Dec - to mid Jan

Allows them to keep their hair in the spring - in other words keeps the lice under control.

Yep...and oil based rather than alcohol based so at least gives you the psychological feeling that it last a little longer.

Our vet insists that at least once a year we use Cydectin as a worming product. We worm and fly control 3 times a year and use a generic brand the other two
