I just got an Agus Freisan cross bull calf yesterday. Today it is about 5 days old. I have the drench (Cydectin, active ingredient: moxidectin) and I am wondering if 5 days old is too early to drench it for health reasons. How early can I drench my calf? And, the bottle doesn't say how often either. How often do I drench it with Cydectin?

Thanks.
Brett.

Don't know anything about the products y'all have in Australia. I wasn't even aware that Moxidectin was formulated in a drench product. Guess I learn something new every day.

The only Cydectin I've ever used is a pour and I think the label states plainly "For External Use Only". I believe the safety tests on calves was three times the recommended dose within 12 or 18 hours of birth with no adverse reactions.
