I wouldn't do a solid sheet, good for the other animals getting loaded to see someone else already in the trailer.

Mine has vertical bars that are close enough together to prevent a foot from going through. With that said, I have no problem with partial sheeting.

How is the rest of the trailer sheeted or not sheeted? I would match up with that.

Sheeted. I think im going to brace the door, then screw some 3/4" ply to it

I like that ideal, but you might could get by with 1/2" exterior plywood.
