Cull cow and bull

Sold a weigh cow that lost her calf. Weighed 1315, brought $.52/lb.

Sold bull that got infection in scrotum, thus no good for breeding. Weighed 2160, brough $.66/lb.

Not a bad day for animals that shouldn't be worth anything.

Why would you say the animals "shouldn't be worht anything"? The sale of cull cows and bulls make upa little better than 20% of a ranch's income.

Not that they aren't "worth" anything, just that they are no longer productive.
