I wonder which state has the most CT members? I wonder if it were all charted out if it would mirror the list of states that have the most cattle? I know Texas is very well represented here and so is Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama.

Seems like Florida would have more members if this were the case cause they got lots more cattle than many people realize.

Based on the folks who post a state, I agree. If anyone who doesn't post a state reads this--let us know where you are. No one will guess who you are unless you describe yourself more than just a state. You aren't taking a security risk or like that. And that little fact is always interesting.

It would be interesting to do a poll on this. Maybe someone smarter than me could do it. :dunce:

No sweat, Alan. Illinois isn't a big beef producing state as far as the numbers go, but there are a number of good producers around. Mostly row crops, though. Last time I saw a list of all 50 states Illinois was around 26 or 27 in beef production.

As for the football team, they were a huge disappointment last year. But being the eternal optimist that I am, I expect them to do great things next year. The basketball team is doing a lot better than expected, though. Keep an eye on them.

im sure theres alot of texans here.TB them old brush cows never seen a human in their 1st 3yrs of life.
