Yesterday evening i had a heifer that was bottle raised and tame start running around in a panic with her tail up in the air. she wanted nothing to do with anyone. she ran until she was completly out of breath. I penned her up to watch her. By the way all other cows were fine. Today she is still standoffish and appears to be loosing condition. she had hay, protein supp, and water in pen. Any pointers or suggestions would be appericiated. Thank you. Ferguson/TX

High tailing like that is frequently caused by heel flies. She could be upset now because she is seperated from the others.
